Becoming a Member

Being a member of the credit union means having ownership in your credit union. When you join TCU, you will own a share in the credit union and have a say in credit union decisions by electing or becoming a board member.

To become a member of The Thrift Credit Union, you must be employed by Norfolk Southern Railroad, Georgia Northeastern Railroad or be a relative of a current member. It's as easy as completing the membership application and returning it to the credit union with a minimum $5 deposit. The deposit is not a fee; in fact it goes directly into your share savings account. You can begin saving immediately and your family can benefit too. Once you join the credit union, lifetime membership is open to you and family members.
